Saint-Joseph Church, located in the town of Houmt Souk on the island of Djerba, is a Catholic church built in 1848 and enlarged in 1855. Ceded to the tunisian government in 1964, it became a municipal building before regaining its function priesthood in 2005.

À deux pas du port de Houmt Souk, découvrez l’église orthodoxe Saint-Nicolas, construite en 1890 par une communauté grecque de pêcheurs. Ce petit joyau méditerranéen raconte l’histoire des Grecs venus pêcher l’éponge à Djerba. Autrefois, à Pâques, le port se remplissait de caïques grecques dans une ambiance festive. Un lieu discret mais chargé d’histoire !
